| The Laboratory of Skin Biology and Experimental Dermatology is a well equipped laboratory for basic and biomedical scientists working on cell biology of skin and skin diseases. We are part of the Nijmegen Science School "Institute for Cellular Signalling" (ICS), a graduate school of the University. Participating research groups are hosted by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the University Medical Center (UMC; including the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the University Hospital Nijmegen St. Radboud). We are a member of the Nijmegen Center for Molecular Life Sciences (NCMLS). The NCMLS offers a challenging and forward looking portfolio of research and higher degree opportunities for (Ph.D.) students and post-docs. | |||||

Nijmegen is the
oldest city in the Netherlands, originally founded by the Romans. The
historic city provides a picturesque backdrop along a branch of the
Rhine, named the Waal. A nice view is provided from the the castle 'Valkhof'
which makes up the highest point in the city.
